Future careers
The program prepares students for various careers and helps them develop a personal musical and artistic approach that considers the current developments in the artistic fields.
The training can lead to a wide variety of careers in which the piano (and, by extension, keyboard instruments) play a role:
- careers in arrangement or composition
- accompanist, vocal teacher
- chamber musician
- general music education
Particular emphasis is placed on the demands of ensemble music (sonata and chamber music) and on accompaniment practices, which are essential elements for professional integration.

International dimension
As holder of the Erasmus Charter since 2010 and a member of the European Association of Conservatoires (AEC), pôle Aliénor offers students the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at a partner institution through the Erasmus+ program.
Spending part of your studies abroad offers many advantages:
– Discovering new cultures and different approaches to music, its teaching, and related professions
– Improving your foreign language skills– Enhancing your résumé/CV for future career opportunities
– Meeting new people and building a professional network
Any student enrolled in the bachelor in performance program (DNSPM) may apply for a study period abroad. Thanks to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), studies completed abroad are recognized and credited within the academic program of the home institution.
